
Residents of Placer County should note the change in venue for the upcoming Board of Supervisors meeting on November 17. Originally set to take place in North Lake Tahoe, the meeting has been relocated to the Placer County Administrative Center at 175 Fulweiler Ave., Auburn, starting at 9 a.m., however, the following day the board will conduct their meeting at its planned location in Tahoe at the North Tahoe Event Center located at 8318 North Lake Blvd. in Kings Beach, according to Placer County's announcement.
For those interested in participating or providing input on the issues discussed, there are several ways to do so, including attending the hearings as outlined in the agenda, which can be found on the county's official website, or by submitting written comments. The agenda, with specifics, will be posted online 72 hours before the meeting, with details on how to attend or participate remotely for those who cannot make it in person.
Written comments can be directed to the Clerk of the Board through email at [email protected] or they can be sent via traditional mail addressed to Clerk of the Board, 175 Fulweiler Ave., Auburn, CA 95603; it's an opportunity for community members to voice their opinions and concerns directly to county representatives.
