On Saturday night in Southwest Houston, a police cruiser collided with a civilian car near the Braeburn Terrace Apartments, causing significant damage to both vehicles. The crash occurred around 11 p.m. on South Gessner Road when a driver attempted a left turn into the apartment complex, according to KHOU.
The police car then went through the apartment gate and hit the side of a building. HPD confirmed the cruiser’s lights and sirens were not active at the time of the collision.
Two officers in a police car and a civilian driver were injured after a gray sedan hit the police vehicle, causing it to crash into a gate and an apartment at Braeburn Terrace, as reported by ABC13. HPD is investigating, including whether alcohol was involved.
