A new holiday initiative is set to bring warmth and cheer to Raleigh’s youth this festive season. In collaboration with Raleigh Parks and Recreation, the Youth Services Unit is preparing “A Night with Santa,” a family-focused event that brings the holiday spirit directly to local children and their families. Kids will have the chance to talk with Santa, share their Christmas wishes, take photos, and enjoy cookies and milk. This community celebration is being led by the Raleigh Police Department.
Scheduled for the 2nd of December at Greystone Community Center and the 11th at Lions Park Community Center, both events will run from 5:30 to 8 PM; these gatherings aim to foster a sense of togetherness and create lasting holiday memories, complete with a craft section filled with kid-friendly activities, an announcement made by the Raleigh Police Department on social media suggested an experience that is not to be missed. Yet the announcement on their official Facebook page did not only serve as an invitation but also as a testament to the local law enforcement's commitment to engaging positively with the community they serve.
