The dog park at Moore Square in Raleigh is temporarily closed for upgrades, city officials announced. Improvements began after the pop-up dog park closed in August, with a planned reopening in January 2026.
The City of Raleigh stated in an official announcement, "We want to let our dog-loving community know that the dog park at Moore Square is closed temporarily as we prepare for exciting improvements." The city added, "Our team is working hard to bring you a better dog park experience that better serves both pups and their people," noting that updates on construction progress will be shared with the public.
In the meantime, residents are encouraged to visit other Raleigh Parks dog parks. The city will continue to provide updates on construction progress.
