Raleigh will see sunny Thanksgiving Day with a high near 52 degrees and gusty winds up to 18 mph, followed by a mostly clear night with a low around 31 degrees. On Friday and Saturday, it will be sunny with highs near 45-46 degrees and nighttime lows in the mid-20s, according to the National Weather Service.
Rain chances increase on Sunday, with a 30 percent chance during the day and 60 percent by nightfall. Early next week will bring partly sunny days and rainy nights, with Tuesday having a 60 percent chance of rain and clearing expected by Wednesday with highs near 50 degrees, as reported by the National Weather Service.
The National Weather Service in central North Carolina issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for gusty winds and very dry air, which could increase fire risk. Friday night temperatures are expected to drop into the lower 20s. Spotters are not expected to be activated, and residents should follow local forecasts for cold weather and possible rain.
