Residents and customers of Raleigh Water should note the service will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday, starting Thursday and continuing through Friday. Normal operations are slated to resume early Monday morning, December 1, at 8:30 a.m. This was announced in by the City of Raleigh.
During the holiday closure, customers won't be left high and dry when it comes to account management. Services such as the Interactive Voice-Response system will be available at 919-996-3245. Additionally, the Customer Self-Service portal remains online for uninterrupted access. Raleigh Water has acknowledged the patience of its customers amidst improvements to the billing registration process on this new platform.
For users who have completed registration, access to the Raleigh Water Self-Service site is available throughout the holiday. "Already registered? You can log in as needed on the new Raleigh Water Self-Service site," informs the utility's notice. Those who have encountered registration issues in past can expect email communication with further details and support, as per the City of Raleigh.
Moreover, those needing to make a payment have multiple options. The "Pay as Guest" feature is available online for one-time transactions, and in-person payments can be made downtown or at any merger community town hall. Alternative methods include mailing a check, setting up bank bill pay with a respective bank, heading to any area Walmart, or calling (888) 905-3169 for prompt service.
