The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) has confirmed that four previously missing children in Clearwater are safe. The Gavin children, who were the subject of a recent Missing Child Alert, were last seen in the Clearwater area. The request for public assistance in locating them has been canceled.
FOX 13 News reported that the children are Moriah, 1; Milo, 4; Melina, 5; and Miracle Gavin, 7. Their last known location was the 300 block of South Gulfview Boulevard in Clearwater. Authorities noted concern because of the children’s ages and the uncertain circumstances of their disappearance.
Further information from WTSP indicated that the children may have been with 34-year-old Mollie Gavin, who has a tattoo on her left inner bicep. The group was believed to be traveling in a 2017 Chevrolet Traverse. Authorities asked the public not to approach them and requested that any sightings be reported directly to the police.

The coordinated response of law enforcement and the community contributed to the resolution of the situation. The Gavin children have been safely recovered, and normal activities are resuming in Clearwater.
