
Rolesville has finalized its Board of Commissioners following the recent election. Incumbent Commissioners Dan Alston and April Sneed were re-elected, receiving 26% and 23% of the vote, respectively. New Commissioner Jenn Bernat received 29% of the vote. Bernat is the owner of Local Charm in Cobblestone Village and has been involved in local economic development and civic engagement.
Following her election, Bernat expressed her gratitude and vision for Rolesville’s future in an official announcement: “I am honored to have been elected to serve the residents of Rolesville,” said Bernat. “Our community continues to grow while maintaining the character that makes Rolesville special. I look forward to working with my fellow Commissioners, Town staff, and residents to ensure our progress reflects the values and priorities of our citizens.”
The current Mayor, Ronnie Currin, also commented on the election results, welcoming both the re-elected commissioners and the new addition to the Board. The Mayor highlighted the contributions of returning and incoming members. Mayor Currin also expressed gratitude to Commissioner Paul Vilga for his eight years of service and wished him well in his future endeavors.
