Deputies from the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office Homeless Outreach Team conducted enforcement near a North Sacramento bus stop, making contact with individuals, issuing citations, and arresting a parolee and two probationers. They also carried out cleanup operations to maintain safety and order in the area, as reported by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.

HOT deputies offered services and resources to those contacted, but no one accepted the assistance. The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office emphasized that aid remains available for those willing to accept it, while enforcement efforts will continue alongside outreach.

According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office on their Facebook page, the Homeless Outreach Team is carrying out operations to keep neighborhoods safe while addressing homelessness. “While we will continue to offer services and resources to those willing to accept help, we will also maintain consistent enforcement to protect our neighborhoods,” the office said, noting collaboration with @sac_county_probation.
