San Antonio Police are seeking assistance from the public in the hunt for two suspects involved in a shooting that took place close to 600 E. Commerce on the bustling Riverwalk on October 18, according to posts on Fox San Antonio. Following a fight that broke out among a group of juveniles, the altercation escalated resulting in gunfire that struck an individual.
Both suspects were caught on security footage from a nearby business, with the San Antonio Police Department releasing the video and asking for public intervention. The first suspect, described as a male, aged 25 to 35, with a stocky build, was seen wearing a vivid shirt adorned with designs on the back. His hair was fashioned into a two-strand twist with the sides shaved. The second, a tall, thin male in his 20s, brandished facial hair and was clad in a dark North Face hooded sweatshirt, as detailed by Fox San Antonio.
KENS 5 shared additional details that the suspects were observed ambling up and down the stairs of the Riverwalk prior to the incident. The suspects swiftly left the scene post-shooting, with the search now intensified to locate them. Individuals with any pertinent information that could help in the identification and apprehension of these suspects are strongly encouraged to reach out to the authorities.
Police are especially eager to hear from those who might have seen anything or know the suspects, urging them to call at 210-207-2457 with any clues, as "anyone with information about these suspects is urged to contact authorities," the SAPD stated.
