The Sevierville Police Department has taken up the mantle of bringing holiday cheer to local teens in need through the Teen Christmas program. According to a recent post on their Facebook page, this initiative aims to provide clothing and hygiene supplies to Sevier County students, targeting those aged 13 and older who might otherwise go without these essentials during the holiday season.
In their call to action, the police department reminded, parents and guardians that time is ticking with the last sign-up date for participating in Teen Christmas or Toys For Tots scheduled for November 19 at the King Family Library, from 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. They have also provided a list of participating agencies willing to assist in this community-driven effort.
The logistics of the program are being coordinated by Kim Loveday, who can be contacted for additional information or for answers to any questions that might arise. Those interested in learning more about the Teen Christmas program or wanting to register can reach out to Ms. Loveday directly via email at [email protected].
