
South King Fire announced that Human Resources specialist Mary Stevens is retiring after more than 18 years of service. "For nearly two decades, Mary has been the steady, compassionate, and indispensable backbone of our department's HR operations," the department said, as reported by the South King Fire Department.
The department recognized Stevens’ contributions to supporting staff throughout their careers. "She's been more than an HR specialist; she's been a mentor, a problem solver, and a true friend to so many of us," the department added, as stated by the South King Fire Department.
Colleagues and the community are invited to share their memories and wishes for Mary Stevens as she retires from South King Fire after more than 18 years of service as an HR specialist, according to the South King Fire Department on their Facebook page. The department encourages people to post their favorite memories of Stevens in the comments. "We know she’ll be busy enjoying her well-earned downtime, maybe tackling some new hobbies or traveling," the post said.
