Despite being rushed to the hospital and listed in critical condition, the individual ultimately succumbed to his injuries eight days later.
In a recent development, Stockton detectives have made a significant breakthrough in the case. After extensive ongoing investigations, Carlos Romero, 27, emerged as the primary suspect. According to a social media post by the Stockton Police Department, Romero was located and arrested in Stockton yesterday. He now faces homicide and narcotics-related charges, and is in custody at the San Joaquin County Jail.
