At the 26th Annual UH Injury Prevention Center & Safe Kids Mocktail Event, Officer Aaron, boldly sporting a KISS t-shirt, and the department's DARE Role Models took to the stage, embracing a theme of “Mock and Roll All Night.” The event, as shared in a Facebook post by the Strongsville Police Department, serves as a fun, engaging platform to raise awareness and funds for the Greater Cleveland Safe Kids Coalition while also promoting the ever-critical message of safe driving through the allure of non-alcoholic drink concoctions.
The police officers, transforming for an evening into charismatic bartenders, competed with their enthusiastic peers to craft creative mocktails that could captivate the taste buds without the buzz. Though these community guardians didn't snag first prize, they certainly succeeded in significantly raising spirits and support for the cause. "While we didn’t take home the top award, we had an amazing time and were proud to support a great cause," the Strongsville Police Department exuded through their social post.
