Suspected Domestic-Related Attempted Murder-Suicide Shocks Upper Arlington Neighborhood

Tragedy struck a quiet Upper Arlington neighborhood yesterday when police responded to a distressing 911 hang-up call.

According to the Upper Arlington Police Division, officers discovered a 64-year-old woman deceased in her home on the 1500 block of Fishinger Road. The situation rapidly escalated to a suspected domestic-related attempted murder-suicide, where a 76-year-old male was found with injuries and transferred to the hospital in stable condition.

The incident happened around 2:32 p.m. and has shocked residents who aren’t used to such events in this usually quiet area. The Upper Arlington Police, with help from the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, are investigating to find out what led to the tragedy.
