Three juveniles were detained by the Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies on the streets of Riverview, implicated in a series of vehicle burglaries. The arrests took place late in the evening near the crossing of Big Bend Road and Balm Riverview Road, an area now scrubbed of its dubious distinction as a prowlers' playground, thanks to the vigilance of law enforcement.
The ordeal happened on Saturday around 10:50 p.m.—the Sheriff's Aviation Unit took to the skies after reports of prowlers emerged, with their bird's-eye view leading ground deputies to three suspects, these young men checking car door handles, enacting a nocturnal ballet set to the overture of potential theft. Two of the suspects were swiftly apprehended, while their counterparts sprinted into the veil of night, only to be enveloped shortly after within the grasp of the law.
As reported by the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office social media post, the individuals apprehended are Marquis Jackson, 17, Johnny Bouie, 16, and Antwon Moore, 14. Their youthful indiscretions have now been cataloged under the charges of Loitering or Prowling, Burglary of an Unoccupied Conveyance, and Possession of Burglary Tools.
