Anne Arundel County has been hit by a string of aggressive robberies, the most recent of which took place this past week. Fox Baltimore reported that yesterday, a man was attacked while walking his dog in Severna Park. The victim was trying to photograph what he suspected to be drug activity involving a car in the 600 block of Alston Place around 6:45 p.m. when the driver assaulted him and took his phone.
The suspect, believed to be a white male in his 20s with a medium build and dark curly hair, according to descriptions provided by the police and reported by DC News Now, stands around 5'10". Walking the streets of Severna Park following the assault, anyone with pertinent information is encouraged to speak out and contact the Eastern District detectives at 410-222-4731.
Later the same evening, a second robbery occurred in Glen Burnie at the Level Up Games store, where an individual subjected an employee to assault. This incident happened around 11 p.m. on Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard. The suspect, according to the employees' perceptions, produced a weapon that seemed like a firearm and made off with cash and goods from the store.
There seems to be a slight similarity in the descriptions of the suspects from these two incidents. The Level Up Games store robbery suspect was also a man in his 20s, but he was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants, tan boots, a mask, and gray gloves.
