Authorities are on the hunt for a suspect involved in a gas station theft last month, with new details emerging in the ongoing investigation. On October 22,  deputies responded to an incident at the Murphy Gas Station in the 26200 block of Northwest Freeway following a report of a theft, according to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 Facebook page.

An employee at the scene described the theft, indicating that a man reached over the counter, stealing a carton of Newport cigarettes valued at a hefty $110.00, before fleeing the premises. The investigation led authorities to identify the suspect as James Robinson, who has since been connected to an existing warrant for Theft issued by the Comal County Sheriff’s Office. In addition to his alleged recent involvement in the gas station incident, Robinson has outstanding legal troubles to contend with, as reported by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.

The search for Robinson continues, as he is now wanted in multiple jurisdictions. Harris County Constable Precinct 4 has taken to social media to engage the community in their efforts to apprehend the suspect. "James Robinson is currently wanted through both Harris County and Comal County for theft," Harris County Constable Precinct 4 was stated in an online post. He urges any individuals with information on Robinson's whereabouts to contact law enforcement immediately.

The Harris County Constable Precinct 4 is posting updates online and encouraging people to follow their Facebook page for the latest news. They also introduced a new mobile app, C4 NOW, which gives residents live updates about crime, arrests, and traffic accidents in their area.
