
The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two individuals in connection with a daylight robbery at a local car show on October 12. As reported by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, a 17-year-old threatened a victim with a knife and stole a necklace, while a 25-year-old, Joseph Barrera, took the victim’s wallet containing credit cards.
The suspects fled and used the stolen credit cards at a liquor store and Taco Bell. Detectives obtained arrest warrants, and Robbery Detectives and the SWAT Team arrested both early yesterday morning.
The minor was booked into Sacramento County Juvenile Hall, while Barrera remains in custody at Sacramento County Main Jail on $100,000 bail. The sheriff’s office has not provided further details on court proceedings.
