A 13-year-old boy was shot and injured in the west Baltimore neighborhood of Druid Heights, an incident that mirrors a strikingly similar event just mere blocks away from where another 13-year-old fell victim to gunfire four days prior. According to information from FOX Baltimore, Baltimore Police responded to the 2200 block of McCulloh Street at around 6:39 p.m. to reports of a shooting. They found the young male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his leg and arm.
Found and injured, the teenager was swiftly transported to a local hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, reported WBAL-TV. The authorities have yet to release the details of any suspects, nor have they provided a possible motive behind the shooting.
Amid a scarcity of available information, the Western District Shooting detectives remain a beacon for those who wish to contribute any leads, urging anyone with knowledge of the crime to contact them at 410-396-2477.
