Five suspects, including two adults and three juveniles, have been charged in connection with a fatal shooting that killed 18-year-old Nehemias Bonilla and injured another teenager on June 22. The incident occurred around 5:20 p.m. at 205 Robmore Street, near Clark Road, where responding officers found Bonilla dead inside a vehicle and another 19-year-old victim wounded, as reported by the City of Houston.
According to the City of Houston, Christian Brizuela, 19, and Hanich Ramirez, 17, face capital murder charges in the 262nd Criminal District Court, while the three 16-year-old suspects were referred to juvenile authorities. Investigators with HPD’s Homicide Division identified all five individuals as suspects following the June shooting.
Houston authorities reported that, after consulting with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, charges were filed and suspects Christian Brizuela and Hanich Ramirez were arrested in connection with the shooting. The district attorney’s office has not yet released details about the motive or each suspect’s involvement.
