Last Friday, a traffic stop in Houston escalated into a dangerous chase after three vehicles were seen weaving through traffic on Veterans Memorial Drive. Two drivers, Isidro Soto and Kevin McBride, eventually stopped and were detained by deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office, as reported by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
During the investigation, deputies found that McBride was carrying a loaded firearm illegally. The pursuit covered several miles and posed significant risks to other motorists on the road, as stated by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
"They were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail," according to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 on their Facebook page. Kevin McBride is charged with Evading in a Motor Vehicle and Unlawful Carry of a Weapon, with a $5,000 bond. Isidro Soto is charged with Evading in a Motor Vehicle, with a $10,000 bond set by the 339th District Court. The third vehicle involved has not been located.
