Houston police have arrested two men, Henry Nathan Ibanez, 29, and Eric Rios, 30, in connection with a 2016 shooting on McDaniel Street that killed Emanuel Carrillo, 34. The suspects now face murder charges, with booking photos and official updates released by the City of Houston.
The shooting followed an argument between a resident and her ex-boyfriend that escalated into gunfire. Carrillo was killed at the scene, while another man was injured but survived after receiving hospital treatment, according to the City of Houston.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants R. Watson and M. Burrow identified Ibanez and Rios as suspects in Emanuel Carrillo’s death. Ibanez was arrested on November 5. "On Friday (Nov. 14), Rios was charged for his role in Carillo’s death. Rios was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail on Tuesday (Nov. 18)," the official announcement stated. Both suspects are now in custody as the case moves to court, as reported by the City of Houston.
