According to the official City of Upper Arlington announcement, Hines completed the demanding 10-week program with Class #242 at the academy located in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
During his training, Hines immersed himself in comprehensive hands-on drills, developing proficiency in areas critical for safety and emergency response. He underwent advanced firefighting techniques, rescue operations, and learned the ins and outs of handling hazardous materials, along with emergency medical procedures. All skills that are indispensable on the front lines of life-saving service in modern communities. It's a curriculum that would seem to serve Upper Arlington well, considering its thoroughness in preparing first responders.
Hines is no stranger to demanding situations--before his most recent accomplishment, he worked extensively as a paramedic. His tenure in regional emergency rooms has equipped him with valuable knowledge of emergency medical care, according to the City of Upper Arlington announcement.
