Michael Andrew Rodgers, 32, admitted late last month, in U.S. District Court to one count of threatening interstate communications and one count of extortionate interstate communications. The investigation involved the FBI, Social Security Administration Office of the Inspector General, Massachusetts State Police, Springfield Police, Windsor Police, and the Federal Protective Service. Special Assistant U.S. Attorney James J. Nagelberg is prosecuting the case in the Major Crimes Unit.
