
The streets around Horseshoe Casino in Baltimore were the focus of a recent sting operation by the Baltimore Police Department's "Red Cloud" Human Trafficking Team. As reported by FOX Baltimore, a coordinated effort to crack down on prostitution resulted in the arrest of 10 individuals, with charges pending against three more. The operation, which was carried out between December 9th and 11th, aimed to target those seeking to illegally purchase sex, colloquially known as 'Johns'.
A diverse collaboration of enforcement agencies joined hands to possibly make the sting operation a success. Among them were Homeland Security Investigations, the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division, and Baltimore Community Intelligence Centers.
As per the information disseminated by WBAL, the arrestees are now facing various charges that include offenses related to prostitution and possession of narcotics.
