
Houston authorities are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that happened on Sunday at 12:58 a.m. at 12699 Fondren Road, where a 23-year-old man lost control of his white Suzuki and was thrown into a nearby ditch. Houston Fire Department paramedics arrived at the scene and pronounced the rider dead, according to the City of Houston.
The victim’s name has not been released pending notification of next of kin, as reported by the City of Houston. The crash shows the risks involved in learning to ride a motorcycle.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant M. Barrow and Officer J. Rincon are investigating a motorcycle crash that did not involve other vehicles or people. The victim, who had recently acquired the motorcycle and was learning to ride, died in the accident. The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences is helping confirm the victim’s identity, and the investigation is ongoing, as stated by the City of Houston.
