A fatal crash occurred last night in Southeast Baltimore on Erdman Avenue, resulting in the death of a 57-year-old man. As FOX Baltimore reported, responding to the single-vehicle crash shortly before 11 p.m., Baltimore Police found a 1999 Ford van that had crashed in the eastbound lanes of the 5800 block of Erdman Avenue. The vehicle was heavily damaged, and emergency personnel quickly worked to aid the driver.
The man was removed from the vehicle and rushed to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. However, he succumbed to his injuries after arrival, with Baltimore Witness confirming his passing shortly thereafter.
The Baltimore Police Department has not yet disclosed if factors like speed, impairment, or mechanical failure were involved in this particular event. The Crash Team's investigation is ongoing, and any potential eyewitnesses with information are urged to contact the authorities at 410-396-2606.
