
A tragic incident unfolded yesterday morning as a 66-year-old pedestrian met a fatal end in Dundalk. According to FOX Baltimore, Baltimore County police rushed to the scene around 1:10 a.m. after receiving reports of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle at the intersection of North Point Boulevard and Trappe Road. The collision involved a 2012 Honda Odyssey traveling southbound on North Point Boulevard.
As reported by NottinghamMD, the pedestrian, identified as Donald Knight, was transported to a nearby hospital following the incident. Despite the efforts of emergency medical personnel, Knight was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The driver of the Honda Odyssey stayed at the scene after the crash, cooperating with law enforcement. Members of the Baltimore County Police Department’s Crash Team have taken the helm of the investigation. As authorities push forward with their inquiry, details surrounding the incident are currently being pieced together.
