Linda Ann Tierney, a 75-year-old White female with blonde hair, was reported missing on Christmas Eve after being last seen at The Ritz-Carlton around 2:00 p.m., wearing a long-sleeve blue polka-dot shirt and shorts (color unknown). Nassau County Emergency Management announced, "UPDATE: Ms. Tierney has been found."
The public was initially asked to be on the lookout and contact the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office with any information. Tierney is no longer a person of interest in the search, and authorities thanked the community for their assistance and vigilance, as stated by the Nassau County Emergency Management.
Officials have not released details about Linda Ann Tierney's disappearance or how she was found. According to the Nassau County Emergency Management on their Facebook page, she was safely returned. Authorities noted that timely alerts and community involvement helped in resolving the case.
