The Cobb Chamber has recently honored an Acworth local for her significant contributions to the community. Megan Strange has been named the Acworth Citizen of the Year for 2025, a tribute to her decades of dedicated service and community leadership.
Acknowledged during a ceremony on Wednesday, Mayor Allegood had the pleasure of highlighting Strange's long-standing commitment to the city. She's been influential as an Upper School Principal at North Cobb Christian School and as a Missions Director at NorthStar Church. Additionally, her involvement with the City of Acworth’s Historic Preservation Commission has not gone unnoticed. Megan has indeed led with heart to build on an Acworth's exceptional quality of life.
