
The Arlington Police Department is actively seeking assistance from the public to help locate a missing man, Rodney Joplin, age 71, who was last reported to have been seen at his home at 4:00 am last Saturday. In an appeal circulated on social media, authorities described Mr. Joplin as a white male, approximately 6'4", with a thin build and a shaved head. Concerning details were shared in a Facebook post by the Arlington Police Department, which indicated Mr. Joplin is considered a fall risk and is believed to be unable to care for himself.
The department’s social media update further noted that Joplin was last seen wearing a black camo Adidas cap, a black quarter zip-up jacket, a gray undershirt, light gray sweatpants, and black shoes. The urgency to quickly find Mr. Joplin was underscored by the police, emphasizing that he was thought to possibly be on foot. The Arlington community and beyond have been asked to immediately share any information that could lead to safely locating him, with the reminder to call 911 if they have any relevant details or sightings of Mr. Joplin.
As the search intensifies, locals have been asked to remain vigilant and to report any sightings or information that may assist in Mr. Joplin's recovery. "Mr. Joplin is a fall risk, believed to be on foot, and cannot care for himself," mentioned the Arlington Police Department in their online plea.
