The City of Atlantic Beach will host a blood donation event on Friday, at the Russell Park Parking Lot at City Hall. The Big Red Bus will be on site from noon to 5 p.m. Donors will have the opportunity to contribute to local blood supplies, and each participant will receive a free wellness check and a thank-you gift.
Appointments are encouraged to help streamline the donation process, but walk-ins are also welcome. Scheduling an appointment can be done through the OneBlood website. The event aims to support the community’s ongoing need for blood donations and provide residents with an accessible way to contribute.
