Officers responded to the 300 block of West Greens Road near Northborough Drive, where investigators opened a homicide probe. Officials have not released the baby’s condition, and no arrests have been announced.
According to FOX 26 Houston, the Houston Police Department confirmed that homicide investigators were on the scene after the initial call from a person who reported finding the infant. The station noted it had a crew heading to the location and that the situation was still developing.
