
An off-duty corporal with the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, Denisse Villalobos, was arrested on family violence-related charges, officials reported on Friday; the 31-year-old faces allegations of assault causing bodily injury to a family member and issuing a terroristic threat against a family or household member, KSAT reports.
Villalobos, who has been with the sheriff's office since April 18, 2022, holds the rank of corporal and is assigned to the Detention Bureau, both KSAT and Fox San Antonio confirm her status within the department indicates she is now up against the process of termination due to the arrest.
The specific details leading to the arrest of Villalobos remain undisclosed, however, it has been made public that following the arrest, the corporal was promptly issued a notice of proposed termination and placed on administrative leave; this information was verified by Fox San Antonio.
