According to What Now San Antonio, the partners are eyeing a soft opening in January and a full grand opening in February 2026. Deleon told the outlet the aim is "to celebrate culinary, culture, and chords with our community all under one roof," while the piece notes that Brun will serve as the team's "vibe sommelier" as The Green Room lines up local, regional, and national performers.
Local radio and Latin jazz roots
Both owners are already familiar voices in San Antonio. KRTU lists Deleon as host of "Smooth Sunday Jazz" and Brun as host of the "Latin Jazz Brunch." Brun's biography and awards highlight a decades-long run as an internationally touring percussionist and bandleader, experience the project is clearly leaning on as it builds out a music-first room.
