
Boulder City will host the Historic Preservation Pop-Up: Ask the Experts workshop on January 20, 2026. The event invites residents, business owners, contractors, and property owners to meet with city staff and preservation experts to learn about maintaining and preserving historic properties.
The city announced that the workshop will be held at the Elaine K. Smith Building from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The event will feature interactive stations where attendees can receive personalized advice on topics such as permit requirements and grant opportunities. No RSVP is required to attend.
Property owners in the historic district must obtain a Certificate of Appropriateness before making exterior renovations visible from the street. The workshop will provide information on Boulder City’s Historic District, including design guidelines, permit requirements, the Historic Preservation Commission, available grants, and other resources, according to Boulder City.
