A shooting in Bullhead City, Arizona, last Friday left a 25-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds. He went to Exceptional Community Hospital around 9:45 p.m. The 19-year-old suspect was later arrested. The incident occurred near Solano Drive and JoAnn Avenue, according to Bullhead & Laughlin News on their Facebook page.
The victim was seriously injured but stable and was flown to a Las Vegas area hospital for treatment, as reported by 8 News Now. Detectives identified Anthony Castro as the suspect, who was arrested at an apartment on Havasupai Drive two days later in Bullhead City, about 100 miles south of Las Vegas.
Castro faces multiple charges, including attempted second-degree murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, discharging a firearm within city limits, and weapons misconduct. He was taken into custody without incident by the Bullhead City SWAT team and Mohave County deputies and booked at the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility, while the investigation continues.
