Flower Mound is getting a spicy new slice of the action. Pizza Twist, the Indian-fusion pizza chain, is opening a new spot in Flower Mound Town Center and plans to start serving on Dec. 15. The menu will mash up American classics with Indian flavors, with items like butter chicken naan pizza, tikka masala pies, pastas, salads and breadsticks all on deck.
Co-owner Rajvir Jandiala Singh told Community Impact that "The menu will have a mix of American and Indian dishes." The outlet reports the new shop will open at 2717 Cross Timbers Road, Ste. 410 and notes the company provided an opening date of Dec. 15.
What to expect
Pizza Twist specializes in traditional pies loaded with Indian-inspired toppings plus naan-crust pizzas, and the brand’s site highlights build-your-own pies, seasonal specialty pizzas and combo deals. The chain also offers pasta, wings, desserts and menu options for vegetarian and gluten-sensitive diners, according to Pizza Twist's site.

The Flower Mound shop is headed for a suite in the Kroger-parking-lot strip at 2717 Cross Timbers Road, according to the center's listing at Flower Mound Town Center. Local reporting earlier this fall notes the space previously housed New York Pizza & Pints and, before that, a Pizza Hut, per the Cross Timbers Gazette.
A growing Texas footprint
Pizza Twist has been steadily expanding across Texas in recent months, with new locations opening in suburbs such as Sugar Land and Conroe, according to Community Impact. The rollout into suburban shopping centers points to growing curiosity about Indian-fusion fast-casual concepts in the region.
