The Cambridge Program for Individuals with Special Needs will present its annual play, The Big Christmas Show, on the evening of December 20 and the afternoon of December 21. The cast is entirely composed of program participants.
According to the City of Cambridge, this year’s play follows Royaal Blue, a character trying to save the Family Theater from financial trouble. Performances include acts from the “Not So Golden Girls,” “The Cambridge Carolers,” and other participants. Shows will be held at the Russell Youth and Community Center, 680 Huron Ave., at 7 p.m. on Saturday and 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Tickets for The Big Christmas Show are $15 and available at the door. Performances include acts such as “Adam the Magnificent,” “Rapper Sebby B and Da Boys,” and the Famous Bonadini Brothers. For more information, residents can view the event flyer or contact program director David Tynes via email, as reported by the City of Cambridge.
The show offers families and community members an opportunity to enjoy music and performances while supporting local arts and individuals with intellectual disabilities.
