The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has narrowed its 2025 “Officer Good Boi” competition to two K9 finalists: Alvin and Robi. The contest has been conducted on the department’s social media platforms, allowing the public to vote for their favorite K9. According to a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department Facebook post, voting for the championship round is scheduled to take place Monday.
The department announced that Alvin and Robi advanced to the final after winning their semifinal matchups. The department congratulated both dogs for reaching the championship round following several weeks of competition.
The final vote will determine which K9 will receive the 2025 “Officer Good Boi” title. Community members can participate by voting through the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Facebook page.
