With the current humidity standing at 51%, and a wind chill making it feel like it's 18°F, you'll want to bundle up as you step out into the morning's crisp air.
The chilly weather isn't expected to hang around all day, though. According to the same source, Denver will bask in the sunshine today, with daytime highs reaching a comfortable 54°F. As night falls, the clear skies will continue with a low around 28 degrees, while "south southwest wind 3 to 7 mph" will be nudging the crisp air around.
Going through the week, the forecast, as published by the National Weather Service, reports that we'll see mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies with highs ranging in the low 60s, and lows comfortably sitting in the mid- to upper-30s. For New Year's Day in particular, you might notice the mercury inching up to 61 degrees, under "mostly cloudy" skies but with only a light breeze to accompany your holiday plans.
A brief note for mountain-goers, there's light mountain snow expected Thursday night into Friday, mainly hitting the Park Range. The NWS advises minor impacts, so don't let that completely throw off your adventure plans. For everyone else in northeast and north central Colorado, no hazardous conditions are on the horizon, so it seems we're all set for a gentle glide into 2026.
