Clay County residents are being informed of a temporary schedule change for New Year’s Day. According to a social media post by the Clay County, FL Government, garbage and yard waste collection will be delayed. Thursday collections will take place on Friday, while Friday collections will occur on Saturday.
The Clay County announcement also stated that the Rosemary Hill Solid Waste Management Facility and Environmental Convenience Centers will be closed on January 1, 2026 for New Year’s Day.
Clay County government offices, including Animal Services and Libraries, will close early at 2 p.m. on Wednesday. All offices will remain closed on January 1, 2026 for New Year’s Day.
