In a move to marry the beauty of Florida's coastline with the joys of reading, the City of Clearwater has launched a beachside library service. Announced via social media, the initiative offers beachgoers a selection of popular books and movies without the typical wait times often associated with library holds.
The service is straightforward: if an item is on the cart, you can check it out immediately with your library card. According to the City of Clearwater's social media post, the Pop-Up Beach Library will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from noon to 2 p.m.
