A Sunday fight at a North Irving apartment complex ended with an arrest after a man allegedly pointed a gun at a woman, according to police. The confrontation unfolded at Woodwind Apartment Homes in the 3900 block of Pleasant Run Road and wrapped up when officers took 35-year-old Thomas Lamont McGee into custody.

Responding officers reported finding a black-and-silver handgun close to McGee and said he admitted that the firearm was his. A witness backed that up, telling officers they saw him holding the gun before police stepped in. The incident report lists the victim as Laura Garcia and states that the weapon was pointed at her from several feet away. According to the Irving Journal, McGee was booked into the Irving jail on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
