An incident of road rage in Curtis Bay escalated into a physical assault and robbery last Saturday, leading to the arrest of a 40-year-old man, as reported by the Anne Arundel County Police Department. The confrontation began when the driver, later identified as Michael Andrew Lentz of Curtis Bay, Maryland, voiced his displeasure towards two juveniles riding E-Scooters on Hilltop Road and Waterway Court.
The situation took a turn for the worse after one of the scooter riders allegedly broke the side-view mirror on Lentz's truck. In retaliation, Lentz chased the youths down to a nearby pier, forcibly removed the helmet from one of them, and proceeded to strike him with it. The police were promptly notified and swiftly responded to the scene.
