
A Danville man has been detained by the Hudson Police Department after allegedly burglarizing a Hudson residence on Saturday night. Suspect Joshua Deveau, aged 38, is accused of forcefully entering the home through a secured rear entrance, creating property damage, and assaulting two individuals inside, , as reported by WMUR.
Authorities responded to a reported burglary around 9 p.m. in Hudson. The suspect, 38-year-old Deveau, fled before police arrived but was quickly identified. Assisted by the Danville, Sandown, and Hampstead Police Departments, Hudson Police located and arrested him near his home shortly after midnight. Deveau, already out on bail for witness tampering, now faces additional charges related to the burglary.
Deveau faces multiple charges, including two counts of Class A burglary, three counts of simple assault, two counts of criminal mischief, harassment, and breach of bail, according to Boston 25 News. He was placed in preventive detention following booking and processing.
Deveau, currently held at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections, waited for his scheduled arraignment Today at 1:00 p.m. at the Nashua District Court. Both reporting outlets have indicated that this investigation is still ongoing, and additional information is being sought actively. The Hudson Police Department has publicly expressed its gratitude towards the assisting agencies for their support in apprehending the suspect.
