Three teenagers became the unintended targets of gunfire last Friday evening in Davenport, stemming from a drug deal gone awry. The Polk County Sheriff's Office reported that an 18-year-old, Wolph Blanc, is accused of attempting to kill the trio during what was supposed to be a marijuana sale in the Palm Key Village neighborhood.

Officials state that in this unfortunate incident, a 17-year-old male was shot in the calf and a 19-year-old male in the thigh. Both victims were subsequently treated at a hospital and released. Additionally, shots were fired at a 16-year-old male who fortunately did not sustain physical injuries. According to the Polk County Sheriff's Office, Blanc, a resident of the Lake Heather Hills area in Davenport, now faces an arrest warrant with multiple charges including Attempted 2nd Degree Murder and Discharging a Firearm in a Residential Area.

The situation escalated into physical violence around 7:02 pm on November 28. The deputies swiftly responded to the scene, and the investigation pointed to Blanc as the shooter. The legal action is now in motion following Blanc’s decision to turn himself in early Tuesday morning at the Orlando Police Department. He was detained for the Polk County warrant and refused to discuss his alleged involvement in the crimes.

Currently, Blanc resides in the Orange County Jail, as he waits for transport to Polk County Jail.
