
DC Fire and EMS Department had a Sunday, as stated in a recent social media post by the department. Platoon 1 responded to a staggering 457 calls in a single day, which was broken down into 325 EMS calls, 94 fire calls, including 2 working structure fires, and 38 other types of calls.
According to the DC Fire and EMS Department, Emergency vehicles were dispatched 991 times across the city, and ambulances transported 183 patients to medical facilities. These numbers highlight the high volume of calls handled by Platoon 1 in a single day.
