DeLand police are currently piecing together the circumstances of a reported shooting incident that took place early this morning. According to WFTV, the shooting occurred on the 100 block of Voorhis Street, prompting a swift response from local law enforcement officers.
Following the reports of gunfire in the area, police detained two individuals. Remaining diligent, police are still searching for an additional suspect, indicating not all those responsible have been accounted for. WESH reported that in the wake of the shooting, the DeLand Police Department is urging the public to keep clear of Voorhis Street to ensure their safety.
